House party!
I held my 21st birthday party a whole 10 days before the actual day cos everyone was more free then, including me. I initially wanted a Spongebob themed party cos my obsession with the cartoon is a little more than little but I figured out it would be pretty troublesome cos I didn’t have much time to get decorations and such! So I just told everyone who was coming to come dressed in whatever they were comfortable in!
It was really just a make-yourself-at-home celebration I guess. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t the least bit nervous about how the party will turn out although I pretty much kept a poker face on the days leading up to it.
Thankfully, everything went well and it was really a day I would remember for a long time!
No more Spongebob theme so I just threw random birthday decorations around the house! Save on the venue, spend on the decorations!
AND THEN!
GIANT SPONGEBOB CHARACTER BALLOON! With accompanying smaller Spongebob balloons. My mom ordered them beforehand and turned out my party was sort of Spongebob themed after all! LOL.
Catered a buffet which was not too bad! The thing about ordering catered buffet is that you should order less than the amount of guests you are expecting, cos no one eats a lot at such parties, and most of the food will go to waste. That’s my mindset, at least.
The only entertainment that night was blackjack, in between and Monopoly Deal, which just required 2 sets of poker cards and 1 set of Monopoly Deal cards! Enough entertainment, I reckon, since ya know, the m-word was involved. Hehe! Thankfully most of my friends were game enough to play!
Another reason why I didn’t carry on with the Spongebob theme (I would probably be using the word “spongebob” like too many times in this post lol) was because I couldn’t get a Spongebob cake in time! So no theme, and this awesome cake didn’t look out of place!

A big thanks to all that came (mainly friends!) and helped out (mainly family!) This party could not have been done without all of youuuuu *tears a little* love love!

So that pretty much sums up the party! It was a simple affair, and playing host was kinda fun, although I didn’t really had to do much since everyone was entertaining themselves in one way or another (hopefully?) HAHA.

OH YEA, and another HUGE thanks for all the wonderful presents! I kinda forgot I would be receiving presents cos I was preoccupied with ensuring no one was bored, so only at the end of the day did I realize, hey I got some presents!
