Had a short staycation over at MBS Hotel over the weekend! And yes, almost everything about it is posh, posh and posh.

The biggest toilet I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. It’s really big. Like, really.
Of course, no stay at the hotel is complete without a trip to the highest level, the awesome 57th floor!

NICE.

This has to be the coolest pool in Singapore! And by that I also mean that the water in the pool is pretty chilly too. Which was quite weird, given how warm the weather was and how much nearer it is to the sun.

WHY THE VIEW SO NICE.

Had to squeeze a shot of myself in anyhow ahaha.
Then we went back to our room to change for the pool! (We wanted to just walk around the SkyPark first but the swimming pool was too inviting :p)

Hihi!

My mom likes it! Haha.

The sun was really fine too :)

Oh, an order of yummy fries (with cheese!) by the pool didn’t hurt as well ;)
Dinner time came, we went back to wash up, change, and headed to the Shoppes side via an underpass. Such convenience.

Settled down at HY California, which serves fusion Japanese fares, specializing in handrolls.

They have typical Japanese dishes like sashimi as well.

And that was when I realised that wasabi can be paired with roast beef. Roast beef wasabi handrolls anyone? I have more photos of the other interesting handrolls we ordered but they all look the same as the above photo so nvm!

These thin slices of ham dish were delicately sliced off from…

… This very unassuming display at the counter. It tasted nice anyway!
After dinner we went for a little walk around the area, and caught the lights show.

And very conveniently walked back to our hotel room to rest (shiok life max)
But before that, I wanted to return to the SkyPark to take in the night view!

Which was something like this.

And this.
Because of where I was at, I met some friends in town at around 10pm, and returned to the room again at 4 in the morning. Almost had to remind myself that I was not overseas. Hehe.
