The good thing about Tumblr is that you need not type out exactly how or what you feel. Cos doing so might make the post turn out awkward. You can simply find a picture that fits your mood and reblog it. After all, a picture says a thousand words.

It was decided over Twitter that a supper meet up should be in place, and at that very night we did exactly just that. The streets of Geylang at night. Rocher tau huey! With you tiao and egg tarts. Simple and satisfying :D Twitter users minus one. Then we proceeded on to explore a bit more of Geylang, and ended up at this zi char restaurant to have frog leg porridge cos somehow we were...

A ramen bar & a dessert bar
Met up with some of the HSA people a few weeks back for dinner at Holland Village! I rarely go to Holland V since it’s so far from my place, but I gotta admit that the place is good to chill out at! This stuffed toy which the girls always bring around (I think!) They made us take a photo with it. Sesame seeds which were given to us to grind and sprinkle over our ramen. It gave us...

The next 1 year 8 months of my life will depend on my actions. I will not just accept what is given to me. (In the meantime, I’m drowning in a cold, dark sea of depression. How sad.)

It was a tough decision deciding between Siam Kitchen and NYDC to be the dinner venue that other night, and after a long period of discussion (actually only 3 minutes), we decided to have dinner at Siam Kitchen THEN desserts at NYDC. Win win situation! We still couldn’t figure out why there was a slice of lotus root in the fruit tea drink since it didn’t hint of any lotus root taste...

POP!
I’ve completed BMT! The past 9 weeks were the start of the 1 year 10 month conscription into national service. 9 November 2010 was the date I got enlisted, and at that point in time, 8 January 2011 (POP date!) seemed so far away. And now that it’s over, I’m glad I’m through with it :) Through BMT I’ve managed to do (or rather, at times, being made to do) things I...

What an early start to the day! Haven’t slept a wink since last night yet though! Was in town for the whole night with the section mates. We always go to town, really. And I think we more or less do the same things - shop, eat, chill, just at different places. We went for dinner at F.I.S.H. this time round, and the dishes were all pretty much on the healthy side, with boiled potatoes and...

I shall spend this one week of break time fruitfully. And by fruitfully I probably mean just slacking around 90% of the time. Not that I’ll be complaining :D

Dinner by the beach
Gone were the days when dining out on a beach meant sandfly bites on the legs and sand entering the footwear. Beach dining has improved leaps and bounds and I just found that out after the New Year’s Eve dinner at Beach Culture over at Pasir Ris Park. By the way, I think Pasir Ris Park has become much more appealing to the eye. Did somebody redo the landscaping of the place or something! ...
